Celebrations in the Regionalbus Leipzig GmbH fleet: 100th Mercedes-Benz bus handed over

Regionalbus Leipzig GmbH has acquired 100 Mercedes-Benz buses over the course of eight years. The milestone 100th vehicle, a Citaro articulated #bus equipped for intercity transport (GÜ), was accepted by Andreas Kultscher, Managing Director of Regionalbus Leipzig, from Uwe Mauerhoff, Sales of Large Fleets and Authorities, at a reception ceremony at the Mannheim #bus plant on March 16, 2023.
This municipal #bus company from Leipzig has thus demonstrated its continued reliance on products bearing the Mercedes star when expanding its fleet. All of Regionalbus Leipzig's #mercedesbenz vehicles are fully air-conditioned and equipped with free WiFi. Many of its new acquisitions are hybrid buses that are already partially operated as electric buses within the district. With the Citaro, this transportation provider is looking to test the first fully electric #bus in real traffic soon.
